Homebody Forever was started by married couple Anisa Purbasari Horton and William Horton, a couple of self-declared homebodies who spent several years living in small spaces (and trying to make them feel like home) while pursuing demanding careers.

In the process, they realized just how important it is to have a comfortable space where you can relax at the end of the day, and for your home to be a source of joy rather than a source of stress.

But home décor and maintenance aren’t exactly our hobbies, nor are we interested in shelling out $$$ to achieve an aesthetic social media tells us to have.

In short, we want to live in a nice home that requires the least amount of work (and money) possible.

Homebody Forever was born of that desire. We hope to share our learnings to help you create a space that is as cozy and comfortable as possible without breaking a sweat!

Meet The Team

Our team of ‘professional homebodies’ will share ideas, research, and opinions about everything related to cozy living, whether that’s storage ideas for your bathroom or how to create a sense of home when you’re constantly on the move. After all, feeling at home is as much a state of mind as it is the state of your physical space.

Anisa Purbasari Horton

Anisa is the co-founder and editor of Homebody Forever. Anisa has a background in digital media and editorial, having written for many publications including Mashable, The Verge, Business Insider, BBC Work Life, and Fast Company (where she worked as an editor for the Work Life section). When she’s not writing for or editing Homebody Forever, she is almost always on the couch with a book and a cup of coffee.

William Horton

After officially co-founding Homebody Forever with Anisa, Will spends most of his time lounging around the house. In his spare time he takes care of sales, marketing and all the business stuff. Will has over 10 years of experience with digital marketing, which is coming in quite handy right now.
